Jazmuin Johnson, a 30-year-old woman from Gary, Indiana, tragically lost her life on October 27, 2018, in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred in Calumet Township, where Johnson was fatally injured after being shot at the end of a car chase. According to Lake County Sheriff Oscar Martinez, Johnson was in an SUV with two men when the vehicle crashed into a tree in the 3300 block of West 47th Avenue.
