April King, a 50-year-old woman from Cedar Lake, Indiana, was found dead on October 2, 2022, in a vacant house in Gary, Indiana. The discovery was made by police who responded to a call about a potential murder-suicide attempt. Upon arrival, they found a man on the front porch with a gunshot wound to his head.
