In the quiet neighborhood of Little Woods in New Orleans, a tragic event unfolded on the afternoon of December 4, 2024. New Orleans Police Department officers responded to a medical call in the 7900 block of Bullard Avenue, where they discovered 18-year-old Jairus Jeremiah Gayden unresponsive inside a residence. Emergency Medical Services were unable to revive him and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
