Death by Force

On December 4, 2024, at approximately 2:09 p.m., the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) responded to a medical call in the 7900 block of Bullard Avenue in the Little Woods neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 18-year-old Jairus Jeremiah Gayden unresponsive inside a residence. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) pronounced him deceased at the scene.
