Donald Roberts Jr., a 39-year-old African American male from New Orleans, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on February 26, 2022. He was one of three victims in a deadly shooting near the Lafitte Greenway area. The incident occurred in the 2900 block of Conti Street, where Donald Roberts Jr., Marvin Pepp , and 15-year-old Heaven Nettles were shot. Roberts and Pepp were pronounced dead at the scene, while Nettles was taken to the hospital and later succumbed to her injuries.
