Derrick Quincey Copelin, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 6, 2021, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Derrick was employed by Groundworks NOLA as a Supervisor and was well-regarded in his role. He was the beloved son of Demica Copelin and the late Derrick Doyle, and he was engaged to Rochelle Williams.
