In the fall of 2016, a violent encounter on a New Orleans street ultimately claimed the life of James Lang, a 52-year-old male. The incident that led to his death unfolded on the evening of September 18, 2016. It was on that day, in the 2000 block of St. Andrew Street, that Lang was discovered suffering from a grave injury, a gunshot wound to his head.
