Lela Ellen Reed Kneiding, born on August 20, 1918, in Iowa, lived a significant portion of her life in Glendale, California. She married Maxson Carl Kneiding on August 29, 1938, and together they built a life in the Los Angeles area. Tragically, Lela Ellen Reed Kneiding's life was cut short on July 20, 1985, when she was found dead in her Glendale home at the age of 66.
