On a Sunday evening in Baltimore, the life of 23-year-old Diontavis Wallace Whitfield, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On February 23, 2025, at approximately 5:31 p.m., gunfire erupted in the 3600 block of Potee Street in the city's Brooklyn neighborhood. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Whitfield suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
