On January 18, 2025, at approximately 6:55 p.m., Baltimore police responded to a reported shooting in the 5600 block of Groveland Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 59-year-old Brian Orlando Reed, an African American male, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
