Death by Force

On May 17, 2024, 25-year-old Matthew Torres was fatally shot in his apartment at the Tides on Copper Creek complex, located at 9815 Copper Creek Drive in an unincorporated area of Austin, Texas. The Williamson County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call reporting the shooting around 10:30 p.m., finding Torres deceased at the scene.
