Carlton McCartney, a 42-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 8, 2014, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Carlton was on his way back from purchasing birthday party supplies for his son when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred early in the morning as Carlton and a 19-year-old companion, Sean Latiff, were leaving a residence on Orchard Way. Both men were shot to death in what appeared to be a targeted attack.
