On November 6, 2023, at approximately 6 p.m., 40-year-old Joshua B. Westmoreland was fatally shot outside a 7-Eleven store located on Brick Church Pike in Nashville, Tennessee. Responding officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department found Westmoreland suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
