In a tragic turn of events, the body of 59-year-old Steven Curtis Waln, a male resident of Largo, Florida, was discovered on December 8, 2024, in the wooded expanse of the Hamilton Creek Recreation Area off Bell Road in Nashville, Tennessee. An apparent gunshot wound was the cause of his death, prompting the Metro Nashville Police Department to launch a homicide investigation.
