On the final night of 2019, tragedy struck in Nashville, Tennessee, ending the life of 18-year-old Marchellos Devens. He was a Black/African American male who was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds inside a rented Nissan Altima. The vehicle was found stopped on the side of the I-65 South exit ramp to Rosa L. Parks Boulevard at approximately 11:50 p.m. on New Year's Eve.
