In the Edgehill area of Nashville on the night of August 24, 2018, Glen Young, a 59-year-old male, was at home watching television inside his apartment. Outside in the courtyard, a dispute erupted during a dice game, escalating to an exchange of gunfire. Hearing the commotion, Young went to his front door to see what was happening. As he opened it, he was struck in the chest by a stray bullet. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
