On the evening of August 17, 2024, 25-year-old Christopher Rhodes was fatally shot outside his apartment at the Richland Hills Apartments on Maudina Avenue in West Nashville. At approximately 10 p.m., Rhodes and his girlfriend were moving furniture into their residence when they were confronted by an individual in the parking lot.
