Death by Force

Dejuan Lytle, a 16-year-old from Nashville, was tragically killed on July 14, 2015, in a shooting incident. The homicide occurred at the Tony Sudekum public housing development on University Court. Lytle was sitting on a porch when he was approached by at least two young men, and an argument broke out. During this confrontation, he was shot in the lower torso. He was quickly transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
