Do you know who murdered Hassan? Hassan Al Mutory, age 22, was shot and killed in what police described as a targeted attack on November 1, 2017, in Nashville, Tennessee. Al Mutory and an 18-year-old woman were driving on Interstate 24 after leaving the Deja Vu club in downtown Nashville when another vehicle pulled alongside and opened fire. Al Mutory was struck in the head, while the woman suffered a gunshot wound to her arm but survived.
Their vehicle crashed into a concrete barrier near the Briley Parkway exit following the shooting.
The incident was described as targeted, and police are still looking for leads. The female passenger's account of the shooting reportedly did not fully align with other witness statements. Al Mutory had a criminal record, including charges for reckless homicide and unlawful gun possession, which were resolved earlier in 2017. The police continue to encourage anyone with information about the shooting to come forward, and Crime Stoppers offers rewards for useful tips.
