In the autumn of 2016, a life was tragically cut short in Nashville, Tennessee, over a dispute on the road. Christopher J. Sparks, a 36-year-old Caucasian male, was fatally shot on September 28, 2016, in what has been described as a road rage incident. On that Wednesday afternoon, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Sparks was driving his red Honda Accord near the intersection of Buchanan Street and Ed Temple Boulevard.
An argument erupted between him and the occupant or occupants of a silver Chevrolet Impala with dark-tinted windows. The verbal altercation escalated tragically when gunshots were fired from the Impala, striking Sparks. He died at the scene from his injuries.
