On the evening of Tuesday, July 28, 2015, in Nashville, TN, officers were dispatched to the apartment of Patrick Tyler Burdine after reports of gunfire in the area. Just after 10:30 p.m., upon entering his residence at 4601 Packard Dr., H191, they found the 28-year-old male had been shot multiple times. Mr. Burdine succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Witnesses reported seeing a shirtless Black man in white pants running from the area immediately after the shooting.
This individual was identified as a person of interest in the case. However, despite this lead, no arrests have been made in the years following the incident.
The investigation into the death of Patrick Burdine remains open and is now considered a cold case. The Nashville Police Department continues to seek information from the public that may lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspect responsible for his death.
