Death by Force

On August 26, 2024, Christopher Walter, a 41-year-old resident of Nashville, Tennessee, was found dead in a South Nashville alley near Hart Street and Creek Street. Witnesses reported hearing a gunshot and observed a man fleeing the scene on a moped. Walter, who resided in an encampment on Creek Street, had been accused of taking another individual's moped. First responders attempted CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the torso.
