On January 16, 2023, a tragic incident unfolded in Nashville, Tennessee, resulting in the death of 14-year-old Cordarion DeShawn Hall. The young teenager, born on June 1, 2008, to Tabitha Hall and Cordell Clark, fell victim to a shooting at a baseball field adjacent to 26th Avenue North and Salem Mason Drive.
