In the autumn of 2023, a dispute over the payment for automotive repairs tragically escalated, leading to the death of 55-year-old Lorenzo N. Perry. The Black/African American man was fatally shot on October 27, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee. The incident, which also resulted in the death of the other party involved, unfolded in the vicinity of the Cheatham Place housing complex on Rosa L.
