In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Nashville, Tennessee, a trip for a late-night meal turned fatal for Robert Saine. On September 4, 2016, the 36-year-old man, accompanied by a friend in a separate vehicle, pulled into the parking lot of the Waffle House located at 408 White Bridge Road. The time was approximately 2:00 a.m., a time when the city was still alive with the remnants of Saturday night.
