In the spring of 2010, the life of 18-year-old Rockwell Montanez was tragically cut short in Nashville, Tennessee. An African-American male, Montanez found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time on the evening of Thursday, April 8th. As he was walking past the Kentucky Fried Chicken located at 2910 Clarksville Pike around 6:00 p.m., he was confronted by an unknown individual or individuals. In a sudden act of violence, Montanez was shot.
