On June 5, 2017, Kuyvonta Cain Nabaa, age 20, was killed in a shooting near the Tony Sudekum Apartments, located south of downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The incident happened in the evening, and the Metro Nashville Police Department investigated the circumstances surrounding his death. Despite efforts from authorities, no immediate arrests were made in connection to the case, and it remains under investigation.
