Malik Khayyam, aged 19, died on August 4, 2017, in an accidental shooting in Nashville, Tennessee. The incident occurred in the Talbot's Corner area when a gun discharged while it was being handled inside a residence. Malik was a local DJ and well-known in the community for his passion for music. A candlelight vigil was held to honor his memory, gathering friends, family, and community members to celebrate his life and contributions as a musician.
