In the early morning hours of December 19, 2023, the life of 34-year-old Dominique Bonds was tragically cut short in a North Nashville alley. A Black male, Bonds was discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his legs in the 1800 block of 15th Avenue North at approximately 2:20 a.m. Despite his grave injuries, Bonds managed to make his way to a nearby apartment and knock on the door, a final act of seeking help before he collapsed.
