Gregory Leon Johnson, a 26-year-old man from Nashville, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on February 23, 2014. Johnson was shot near Joseph Avenue and Grace Street in East Nashville, and later pronounced dead at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The incident occurred during what investigators believe was an attempted robbery. Johnson was driving a black Volkswagen Jetta when he crashed into the Salvation Army parking lot after being shot.
