Cameron Selmon, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 22, 2015, in the outside courtyard of the Floyd-Payne Campus Center at Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee. The incident occurred during a dice game dispute that escalated into a physical altercation and gunfire. Three other 18-year-old students were also injured in the shooting.
