In a tragic turn of events on a May afternoon in South Nashville, a prolonged drinking session between two family friends culminated in the death of 63-year-old Alan Howard. The male victim was fatally shot in the chest on May 23, 2024, while inside a vehicle on Fain Street. Responding officers found Howard with a chest wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
