In the late afternoon of a January day in Philadelphia, the life of 25-year-old Dawson Johnson was tragically cut short. On Monday, January 16, 2023, at approximately 4:54 p.m., the sounds of gunfire echoed through the 2100 block of North 20th Street. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene, they found Johnson lying in the street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
