Death by Force

On January 16, 2023, at approximately 4:54 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 2100 block of North 20th Street in North Philadelphia. Upon arrival, officers discovered 25-year-old Dawson Johnson lying in the street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds, including two to the abdomen and one to the face. He was immediately transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:18 p.m.
