Rodney Copeland, an 18-year-old Black male, was tragically murdered on the evening of October 4, 2017, in Philadelphia, PA. He was shot in the back while standing on the 1500 block of South Stanley Street, along with two other victims, a 21-year-old Black male and a 20-year-old Black male. All three were transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, but unfortunately, Rodney did not survive his injuries.
