In the late evening hours of a spring day in Philadelphia, a young man's life was brought to a violent and tragic end. Jamal Jackson, a 22-year-old Black male, was found inside a silver Toyota Tacoma on the 1500 block of North 62nd Street on Monday, April 5, 2021. The discovery was made at 11:11 p.m. when Philadelphia police officers responded to a call. Inside the vehicle, they found Jamal unresponsive, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.
