On the evening of May 19, 2023, 43-year-old Adinson Suarez-Marte was fatally shot inside a barbershop located on the 3000 block of Kensington Avenue in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood. Responding to reports of a shooting around 7:30 p.m., police found Suarez-Marte with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. He was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
