On September 6, 2021, 19-year-old Jordan Murray was fatally shot on the 2200 block of West Huntingdon Street in North Philadelphia. The shooting was part of a string of violent acts attributed to a North Philadelphia street group known as 'BNG' or 'Big Naddy Gang'.

Investigators allege that Jamir Brunson-Gans, 18 at the time, and Elijah Soto, then 16, were responsible for Murray's death. Prosecutors state that the violence carried out by BNG was in retaliation for the killing of a 15-year ...
