Police Officer Ivan J. Walker, aged 54, was shot and killed with his own service revolver on September 11, 1980, while attempting to arrest a man for disorderly conduct at Plymouth Hall, located at 2201 West Venango Street in Philadelphia, PA. The incident began inside the building's lobby, where the suspect struggled with Officer Walker.
