On July 21, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in West Philadelphia during an early morning block party on the 1200 block of North Alden Street. Around 2:00 a.m., gunfire erupted, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including 23-year-old Sekayi Robinson, and injuries to six others.
