On July 27, 2018, 30-year-old Kevin Miller, a Black male, was fatally shot in North Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 12:40 p.m. on the 2200 block of North Uber Street. When police arrived, they found Kevin lying in the courtyard with multiple gunshot wounds to his back, chest, and arm. Despite being rushed to Temple University Hospital, Kevin succumbed to his injuries later that night.
