On November 22, 2024, 48-year-old Moneer Farhat was fatally shot in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood. The incident occurred near the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Pratt Street, close to the SEPTA Frankford Transportation Center. According to reports, 39-year-old Sherwayne Garrison left his Honda vehicle running and unattended while he used an ATM.
