On July 30, 2022, Damon Smith, a 45-year-old man from Philadelphia, PA, was tragically killed in the Point Breeze neighborhood. He was found lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department responded to the scene around 5:26 p.m. and transported him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead that evening.
