On January 29, 2023, 74-year-old Thomas R. "Tom" Kemmer was tragically killed in his Limestone Township, Pennsylvania home. Early that morning, 46-year-old Jeremy Raymond Dailey of Summerville entered Kemmer's residence on Sandy Flat Road. An altercation ensued, during which Dailey disarmed Kemmer and fatally shot him multiple times in the face. State Police responded to the scene around 4:52 a.m., finding Dailey shirtless outside the home and Kemmer deceased inside.
