Jesse Darren Burton Jr., a 17-year-old male from Chester, Pennsylvania, died on April 27, 2013, after gunfire broke out in a Chester neighborhood and turned an ordinary spring evening into a scene of violence. He was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead after being shot. His obituary described him as a Chester native, the son of Arcina L. Smith and Jesse Darren Burton Sr., and noted that he had attended Chester High School and Strath Haven High School and was enro ...
