The cause of death was determined to be a result of a hit-and-run incident on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The victim was struck by a truck while in the shoulder/travel lane of I-76 westbound near mile marker 304.0 in East Nantmeal Township, Chester County. The incident was reported as a suicide.
