On March 1, 2023, at approximately 12:08 p.m., first responders were dispatched to the 3100 block of Versailles Avenue in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered 47-year-old Robert Joyner, a Pittsburgh resident, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Joyner was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:27 p.m.
