In the afternoon of July 5, 2024, the life of 39-year-old David Allen Gamble was tragically cut short in his McKeesport, Pennsylvania, home. Emergency responders were called to a residence on Garbett Street around 2 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Inside, they discovered Gamble suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Gamble, a White male, was born in Pittsburgh on March 2, 1985.
Known as a loving husband and father, David Gamble was remembered for his willingness to help others. He was married to his wife, Ashley Bowman Gamble, for ten years, and they had two children, a daughter named Talia and a son, David 'DJ' Gamble. He found enjoyment in landscaping, doing lawn work, and playing video games. His family, including his parents, two brothers, and a sister, were left to cherish his memory.
The investigation into Gamble's death quickly led to a suspect. Isaiah Bridges, a 30-year-old resident of McKeesport, was identified and arrested in connection with the fatal shooting. He was subsequently charged with criminal homicide and taken to the Allegheny County Jail. The Allegheny County Police Department's Homicide Unit is leading the ongoing investigation into the circumstances that led to the shooting.
