At approximately 8:53 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting and discovered Alexandre lying unresponsive in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, but he succumbed to his injuries. Another man, who was 56 years old, was also shot during the incident, sustaining a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to the same hospital in stable condition.
Remembered as an outgoing, positive, and loving individual, Alexandre had recently achieved a significant goal by obtaining his Commercial Driver's License. He had ambitious plans to establish his own trucking company, which he was going to name 'The Middlemen'. His family, who affectionately knew him as '1 Mann the Haitian Jamaican sensation,' recalled him as a loving uncle and godfather.
