The discovery was made on the 2700 block of West Albert Street. Bryant had sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
The Philadelphia Police Department opened an investigation into the death of Ryheem Bryant, classifying it as a homicide by shooting.
