On November 14, 2017, at approximately 1:53 a.m., Philadelphia police officers responded to a report of a shooting on the unit block of East Garfield Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, they discovered 43-year-old Black male Tavio Scott lying unresponsive in the street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel transported Mr. Scott to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Mr.
Scott was a resident of the unit block of East Garfield Street in Philadelphia. He was known to have previously worked as the founder of the Allen Debbie Dance Academy.
As of the latest available information, there have been no public reports indicating any arrests or identification of suspects in connection with Mr. Scott's murder.
