On Friday, September 29, 2017, Randolph Bell, a 29-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was found wounded in a rear driveway on the 2000 block of West Cambria Street. Philadelphia police officers arrived at the scene and found that he had been shot. He was still alive when emergency responders took him to Temple University Hospital, but he died there later that afternoon.
